Coastal communities in Sindh province, Pakistan, face increasing risks from climate change impacts like storms, floods, and erosion, leading to displacement. This paper discusses findings from a 2019-2020 study on vulnerabilities, agency, and responses to climate-related displacement. Displacement in Sindh's coastal zone is a gradual, complex process involving both forced and voluntary migration due to sea level rise and poor river water management. These communities lack influence over global and regional environmental processes. NGOs and Community Based Organizations (CBOs) provide essential services and empowerment, suggesting that with adequate resources and policies, CBOs can support adaptive solutions and safe migration for those at risk of climate-induced displacement.
