In southern Sindh, the damming of major riverways has led to severe sea intrusion, affecting more than 1.2 million acres of land. This has forced tens of thousands of people to migrate in search of alternative livelihoods. Overall, urgent and comprehensive action is needed to address these climate-induced challenges in Pakistan.
