The intense rains and flooding since June 2022 have had an impact on approximately 33 million people, including at least 7.9 million displaced individuals, of whom 598,000 are currently residing in relief camps. Over 175,600 women, 194,000 girls, and 206,000 boys are among the estimated 800,000 refugees living in more than 40 calamity-affected districts. Nearly half of these refugees are housed in KP (Peshawar) and Balochistan (Quetta). This is in Sindh, where over 683,000 houses were destroyed and over 1.1 million houses were damaged.
